We were headed to Fife RV in Fife, WA to look at a Forest River motorhome. It would have been very easy for us to hop on I-5 and just drive directly there. We decided on the scenic route, however. We drove down Hwy 203 from Monroe to Fall City, making a stop at Snoqualmie Falls. The falls were still falling, but you can tell that there was a very low snow pack this year.
We cut over to Hwy 18 and took a nice leisurely drive into Fife. We pulled into Camping World to see if they had anything we wanted to look at, and Mt Rainier was out.
We returned home the way we came, but by-passed Snoqualmie and came through Preston, hoping for a side trip to Lake Alice. Unfortunately, they were working on the road to Lake Alice, so we stopped at the Tolt River Park in Carnation WA instead.
All in all a nice day. No motor home, but a lot more research to do!
