Can you say FRUSTRATED!
At last post, I had succombed to the Sensa Infomercial. I just received months #5 and #6. I actually weigh a half a pound more than when I started. Now I will admit to the fact that I don't always remember to sprinkle it on my food. In fact if I remember to do so for 2 meals, I feel good. This product is to help you stop from over eating. I don't think I over eat. I think my metabolism is very sluggish - partly due to my age, partly due to my thyroid, partly due to the long term use of Prednisone to treat my previous thyroid disease. I've been off the Prednisone for greater than 4 years. My thyroid levels are within normal limits. My endocrinologist likes to keep my TSH at the lower end of the normal range to make sure the Grave's Disease does not return. I'm pretty sure that's also what keeps my metabolism slow. That and being post menopausal.
Dr Oz has many programs on weight loss. I record every one of those programs. And some of the things I try, and some I just jot down. I've tried white tea which alleges helps with fat cells dissolve. It constipated me. Who the heck gets constipated from drinking tea? Ah, that would be me. It was the only dietary change I made, so I'm pretty sure that was it. Scrap the white tea, and go for some decaf green tea. No longer constipated, but haven't dropped a pound. I'm only a few days into the green tea protocol, so I'll give it a few weeks. I'm not a big tea fan. I'd much rather have coffee.
A month ago, Dr Oz had a woman on who was promoting Raspberry Ketones. You take 100mg at breakfast, and should see results in 5 days. Nope, not me. Okay now we are at 100mg at breakfast and 100mg at lunch. It's only been 3 days, but I would hope to see some results - even half a pound would be nice. The Raspberry Ketones are to stimulate the metabolism.
I'll check back in to update my results. As of this morning, I was 165 lbs. I keep my caloric intake between 1200 - 1700 per day. I walk 3 - 5 miles each day. I chase my 3 year old grandson around 4 days a week. I would expect to see some results here. And just I AM frustrated.
And now the holidays are upon us. I'm not sure if I want to say, "To hell with it" until after the first of the year, or just do my best and keep on keeping on. What if "To hell with it" is my best????? My daughter-in-law loves to bake. Oh Lord Help Me!
Has anyone tried Fat Loss Factor????
